Polyurethanes
Polyurethanes are extremely suitable to solve, for instance, wear problems in small to medium series. Peritek supplies and produces polyurethane coatings and mould matches of 20° Shore A to 85° Shore D with a temperature resistance of -40 to +100°C.
Due to its chemical composition, polyurethane has a number of unique characteristics, such as:
• Extreme wear-resistance
• Strong non-adhesiveness
• Very high coefficient of friction
• Good chemical resistance
• Suitable for food products (FDA approved)
• High elasticity
• Good resistance against ozone and sunlight
• Excellent age-resistance
Fields of application are for instance: machine building, wood processing, offshore, dredging industry, oil industry, paper industry, cartoning industry, agriculture, metal working industry, food industry, recreation and design.
